2. The Devil Inside (2012)
The Devil Inside has earned a reputation as one of the worst horror movies to have ever existed, ever, and that's mainly due to its cop-out ending, which had the cheek to divert movie-goers to a website if they wanted to find out what happened. I don't know who decided to implement that, but I'm angry at you, that person. Given that the movie is overly awful in every regard, it's probably not wise to suggest that it "ended too soon" (what bad movie can't end sooner, right?), but here's one that really did need to go on a little longer. I won't get into details, because - honestly - they're not worth talking about. All you need to know is that
The Devil Inside culminates with a bunch of horribly-rendered characters (one of whom is possessed) driving away in a car as the plot attempts to make sense of itself, and then there's a crash, the sounds of chaos, and the movie cuts to black. "No way," anybody watching this moment might've thought. "That's not the end is it? Oh, wait, what's this text coming up on the screen? Visit www.therossifiles.com? Are you
kidding me?"
