The movie might not end up being Iron Man's last stand, but there's a very good chance it will be the stage of a glorious death for Captain America. The moment Steve Rogers confronted Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet alone in the Infinity Gauntlet comic book arc was one of the most iconic in comic book history. It epitomised how courageous and willing he is to stand up for the forces of good, even when everything seems hopeless and when everyone else has failed - even those considerably more powerful than him. Of course, he was killed by the villain who was essentially God at the time - and that's exactly what we expect to happen here. It will be a fitting exit for Chris Evans and will enable Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes to take over the Captain America mantle in subsequent movies.
