The Film: Bronson This is the true story of the infamous British prisoner, Charles Bronson charged in 1974 for armed robbery and sentenced to seven years. His inability to behave has seen secured him over 30 years in prison, much of which has been spent in solitary confinement due to his violence towards staff and fellow inmates. The Character: Charles Bronson Bronson - expertly played by a pumped up Tom Hardy - is known for his intelligence and sense of humour as much as he is for his violence, but don't let that fool you. Bronson often challenged prison guards to fights, oiling or buttering his naked body in order to make capture near impossible. His massive build, gained by his generous amount of free time to work out, makes a fight with this man a scary prospect. Surely we'd all quite happily spend the day not having a naked and oiled Charles Bronson charging at us while he screams his demands for a helicopter, but we don't have access to one - and that's really not what he wants to hear. Warning: Contains colourful language. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tmcYWlNEeA
