9. Doug Loves Movies
Comedian Doug Benson loves movies so much he has a weekly show at the UCB theater dedicated to talking about them. Doug and his impressive panel of guests (people such as Zach Galifianakis, Simon Pegg, Edgar Wright, Scott Aukerman, Paul F. Tompkins, Michael Ian Black and more) discuss movies they have seen before seguing into movie-related games. Each episode ends with The Leonard Maltin Game, in which panelists wager how many names from a cast list they can hear before guessing a movie's title. If that sounds confusing, it's because it is, and even some repeat guests don't always remember how it is played. DLM releases a large output of episodes each year, and while it is sometimes hit-or-miss, when it hits, it hits hard. Benson consistently gets surprisingly big-name guests and goads them into cutting loose, leading to an enjoyable listen for comedy and film fans alike. It can be downloaded
