On the exact other end of the respectability spectrum is Kevin Smith's strangely likeable romantic comedy about two best friends who, down on their luck and with bills to pay, decide to get into the porn business. After all, it's the fastest growing part of the entertainment industry! Wink wink. It's a surprisingly sweet film considering it does feature some pretty hardcore sex scenes, as long-time best friends Zack (Seth Rogen) and Miri (Elizabeth Banks) realise they may have actual feelings for each other just before they settle down for their big on-camera moment. The title of Zack And Miri Make A Porno made it difficult enough to market in the US, which Smith attributes to it flopping at the box office. Worse still was its total banning in Thailand, with the Ministry of Culture deciding the characters showing how to make a prono might inspire teens to imitate them. Yeah, that's what does it...
