10 Films You Must Never Watch With Your Parents

1. The Wolf Of Wall Street

The Wolf Of Wall Street was a hilarious attack on the ideas of excess, showing the highs and extreme lows of success, with its final shot highlight just how much adoration it brings even after despicable actions. Some of the film's harshest critics lost that, finding it instead an exercise of Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio tastelessly validating a criminal for three hours.

While they're certainly missing the bigger picture, it's easy to see why they felt that way; from drug-obsessed opening to wife-beating finale the film is full of the finest overindulgence a production budget can buy. Relentless drug taking, countless nude shots, a complete ignorance of the value of money and so many f-words the TV cut will be even funnier, the film is so full of crazy elements it's overwhelming. The only way it could be more overwhelming is if you watched it with your parents.

When Leo's face popped up from behind those two arse cheeks it became clear you shouldn't have listened to your mother when she wanted to see it "because that nice McConaughey man is in it".

The Worst Bit: Picking just one is nigh on impossible - they come so thick and fast the awkwardness would just compound. If we really have to, then it'd have to be a quaaluded up Jonah Hill masturbating in public over the future Mrs Belfort.
