9. It: Chapter 2

Nobody expected the remake of Stephen King's It to be as big of a success as it was but it took the world by storm, thanks to a perfect mix of extreme, R-rated horror, Bill Skarsgard's instantly iconic performance as Pennywise and the melancholic, Stranger Things throwback vibe (and I'm not saying that just because it actually starred some of the kids from Stranger Things).

Consequently, when a sequel was teased after the finale of that movie - a second chapter that would adapt the "adult" portion of the horror novel - the hype levels went through the roof. Even better, New Line quickly assembled a cast of fan favourites to play the grown-up versions of the original's perfectly-cast kids, including James McAvoy as Bill.

The first image of that actor onset has now been unveiled and... it certainly looks like James McAvoy alright.
