10 Franchises To Binge Watch While You're Home (And Their Viewing Orders)
8. X-Men Franchise
It went 19 years (technically is still going with New Mutants expected to be a part of this universe) and featured some of the most memorable comic book film adaptations ever seen. Kicking off in 2000 with X-Men, the movies rode on the back of stellar performances by High Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian Mckellen and others, and Brian Singer’s brilliant work as director to win a place in all our hearts.
It began with two extremely well received movies in X-Men and X2, then hit a bit of a wall with the Last Stand, which still was a pretty good movie mind you, before blowing somewhat hot and cold in subsequent years. Nonetheless, if you are a fan of the X-Men or superheroes in general, then this could be an ideal binge for a time like this.
It had all the intense action and emotional struggle that is usually associated with these characters and included a number of moments and dialogues that are perhaps more relevant than ever before. And this is without even getting into Deadpool.
And yeah sure, the timeline for these movies is more complicated than the equation for the rotation of a star, but I’ve arranged them here in the order I think will make the most chronological sense.
