10 Funniest Deaths In Comedy Movies

This is one of those moments in a movie that makes absolutely no sense, yet somehow manages to be laugh out loud hilarious. It is quite literally a perfect piece of comedy.

During a chase with several suspects detectives Danson and Highsmith, played by The Rock and Samuel L. Jackson, decide to leap off a building into bushes to catch up to the criminals. Only problem is, there are no bushes, and the two smack right into the sidewalk.

"Aim for the bushes." What bushes? What are they on? What on earth were they thinking? You could ask a thousand whats here and still never come close to understanding anything about why this happened. In fact, it could easily be argued that this is even more absurd than the nuclear bomb rodeo in Dr. Strangelove.

What really sells this moment, besides the absurdity, is the use of the Foo Fighters classic bop My Hero as these two decorated detectives essentially commit joint suicide. Much like the previous entry, this is one of those parts in a movie that description just can't do justice. It is truly brilliant.

From Anchorman and Talladega Nights it's clear that director Adam McKay knows his stuff when it comes to comedy, but this is on a whole other level.
