The Defenders offered a taste of what it's like for street level superheroes to operate in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but now that those Netflix TV shows have essentially been forgotten, it's down to Kevin Feige to delve into that side of this shared world. Moon Knight - who is getting his own series - is the perfect character to do that with, but he's infinitely more complex than the likes of Jessica Jones and Daredevil.

For starters, Marc Spector died and was later resurrected by Khonshu, the Egyptian Lunar-God of Vengeance who chose the former mercenary as his "avatar." He's also Jewish, which would be a first for the MCU when it comes to its lead character.

The crazy thing is that Marc is, well, crazy, and it's never quite clear whether he really does have that God on his side or if it's all in his head. With a serious split personality disorder (he's also gone by the names Steven Grant and Jake Lockley), Moon Knight dishes out brutal justice to criminals and it should be fascinating seeing what his fellow heroes make of him.

Oh, and the kicker? Rumour has it that Daniel Radcliffe could end up playing him.
