10 Game-Changing New Characters Coming To DCEU
1. Green Lantern
Green Lantern hasn't been seen on screen since 2011, but that looks set to change over the coming years with the Green Lantern Corps movie and a TV series on HBO Max. Those are going to tie into each other, creating an expanded cosmic universe which drastically alters the DC Extended Universe.
Along the way, we're confident that we'll spend time with human Green Lanterns like Hal Jordan, John Stewart, and Kyle Rayner, and regardless of which one of them ends up receiving the largest share of the spotlight, they all have the potential to be true game-changers.
Just like Zatanna brings magic to the DCEU and Mongal makes aliens on Earth the norm, Green Lanterns will make this planet part of a much, much larger picture. The introduction of the Corps means that Earth's defenders could soon find themselves caught in everything from the Sinestro Corps War to Blackest Night, and if you're a fan of the comic books, you'll know how exciting that is.
