10 Gaping Plot Holes That Will Ruin Your Favorite Movies

10. People Didn't Have To Die - Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)

Harry Potter is a demented serial killer. That's right. You read that correctly. How else can you explain the fact that Potter allowed countless innocents to die during his time at Hogwarts? "But Harry did all he could to save everyone from Voldemort!" Wrong. Why didn't Potter just use the time turner from The Prisoner Of Azakaban movie to travel back and prevent the deaths of those closest to him? You don't have to be the Chosen One to figure that out. "But isn't time travel a perfect loop like blah blah blah and in the book, blah blah blah." All valid points, but audiences shouldn't have to refer to the original novels for a plot to make sense as the films should stand on their own merits. Maybe the death of his parents caused Potter to snap at a young age and the loss of each loved one since brought him a perverse glee, knowing that he could prevent each one yet still chose to do nothing. And you thought the horse-loving play Equus was messed up!
