http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nn8YubD01sk Clint Eastwood had more than made his mark in Hollywood by the time he did this musical although, after his Spaghetti Western roles, you have to wonder why he was chosen or indeed why he chose "Paint Your Wagon". He wanders through the forest singing I Talk To The Trees and by the time he hits the final line Cooome.... Trooooooo... we are left wishing he had just talked to the trees instead of trying to sing to them. At least Clint picked up some tips about direction during the overblown production and has since developed a quality back catalogue that render his singing a mere footnote to his career.
