3. Jerry - Some Like It Hot
The maracas. Oh, the maracas. I don't know how it's possible for a man in a dress shaking a pair of maracas, high on the rush of a fantastic date with an eccentric millionaire, to be so incredibly hilarious. I really don't. But it is. While Tony Curtis plays the dashing scoundrel in the seminal classic Some Like It Hot, Jack Lemmon is his stalwart companion, with him for all of his outlandish escapades and complaining the whole way. His line delivery is utter perfection in this film. He takes parts of the script that I don't even think the writers had envisioned being laugh lines and makes them just hilarious. His squirrelly, frenetic performance is the stuff of legends, and I'm genuinely shocked that he didn't win the Oscar for it.
