10 Great Deleted Scenes That Should Have Been Included

1. In Bruges - The Matt Smith Decapitation Scene

How this scene would have actually worked in the film or how it would have looked if they decided to keep it in and improve the special effects remains to be seen, but it certainly is an oddity and the writers obviously wanted to include it for a reason.

Like the Kill Bill deleted scene, this one would have increased the threat and the mythology of the film's antagonist played by Ralph Fiennes (a pre-Doctor Who Matt Smith plays a younger version of him here) and no sane person would ever argue against that.

It's a stunning scene, and an absolute gut-punch in a film that is beautifully punctuated by surprising, short, sharp blasts counter to the overall comic tone. And it offers a curious look at Smith's talent before he made his name as the Doctor.

I am an unashamed geek who loves everything Marvel, and anything Joss Whedon has ever touched (except for maybe Alien Resurrection and Titan A.E). My current favorite TV shows are Breaking Bad, Family Guy, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, Homeland and Glee. I look forward to debating things with all of you in the future.
