10 Great Deleted Scenes That Should Have Been Included

3. Titanic - The Shooting Star

For fans of Titanic, any additional material is no doubt welcome, no matter what. It has received a lot of bad press since release, but it made stars out of its two main leads, who are now both universally adored and critically acclaimed.

This scene was perhaps somewhat unnecessary but it does make a great point about one of Titanic's all-encompassing themes. It reinforces the idea that not life on Earth is mostly unimportant in comparison to the almost endless universe and that it doesn't matter whether you are rich or poor, in the end we all die.

A cheerful moment, clearly.

I am a recent Screenwriting for Film and Television graduate from the UK. I am an unashamed geek who loves everything Marvel, and anything Joss Whedon has ever touched (except for maybe Alien Resurrection and Titan A.E). My current favorite TV shows are Breaking Bad, Family Guy, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, Homeland and Glee. I look forward to debating things with all of you in the future.
