Run Time: 88 minutes By far the funniest spoof film ever made, Airplane! is the ultimate silly movie that delivers hilarious gags in nearly every scene. Despite the non-stop silliness (theres literally not a single scene that doesnt contain a joke), it never gets old or overdone and will keep you laughing till the end. Its the master of spoof movies and initially inspired several other hilarious '80s spoof comedies such as The Naked Gun and Spaceballs. The spoof sub-genre has really taken a dive the past decade or so thanks to the onslaught of cheap, juvenile cash grabs such as Date Movie, Disaster Movie, Superhero Movie, etc. Airplane! is in another league entirely when compared to these unfunny atrocities, and its one of the few spoof comedies that will actually have you rolling on the floor laughing. Airplane! is just under an hour and a half long which is perfect because the silliness would likely get a bit tiresome if it were to go on for even a mere ten minutes longer.
