10 Great TV Relationships

5. Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo (Rome)

Okay, neither of these characters are gay, and they certainly aren't gay together. However, what appears in both seasons on Rome just might be the definitive bromance. Both characters are, eventually, lost without the other, and they supplement and compliment each other in such a fantastic way that it'd be impossible not to include them. Their friendship together is much more inviting, convoluted, and gripping than either of their relationships to their respective wives (which, if you've seen the show, is quite a feat considering all that happens). So, while they're not "together" by any means, it doesn't stop them from having lover's quarrels or heated spats about the mundane things in life. But there's always a general respect for the other, and a love for each other still unmatched in many a show playing currently.

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
