10 Great X-Men Characters To Follow Apocalypse As Movie Villains

4. Alpha The Ultimate Mutant

Alpha the Ultimate Mutant would be a very unique addition to the X-Men movie franchise, as he was actually artificially created by Magneto. Movie Magneto is just as passionate about mutant superiority as his comic book counterpart and it would certainly be in-character for him to want to engineer the perfect specimen - although he's done little to show he'd be capable of such a feat so far, which could be a problem. That said, Alpha's connections to a man who is a key element in the movie franchise would allow for his seamless integration in to it.

The character possesses telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation, forcefield generation, transmutation, the ability to bring inanimate objects to life and a continuously increasing intellect which means he is a genius of a level beyond human comprehension and which grants him a form of cosmic awareness. As a result, he's more powerful than any character to have appeared - or indeed any who are due to appear - in the X-Men franchise.

Alpha hasn't really appeared much in the comics and he hasn€™t actually interacted with the X-Men very much, so he would be something of an obscure choice for future inclusion, but the concept of the character is superb and it would be great to see it adapted to fit in to the franchise.

Alpha has bested characters like the Hulk with ease in the comics and he would be a more than worthy follow-up to Apocalypse.
