Lucy Walters stars as Ann in this 2017 survival horror flick, a lone woman who must get through each day in a world that has been decimated by zombies.

While most protagonists in films like this hole themselves up in a nice abandoned house, Ann is forced to live outdoors, as dwellings act as beacons to her flesh-munching foes. No chance of a nice cup of tea at the end of the day, then.

Ann is alone for most of the film, with her only company being the memories of her now-deceased husband and daughter, and two fellow survivors. She takes a liking to one of them, Chris, after nursing him back to health. However, this draws the ire of Chris' teenage stepdaughter, Olivia.

A sort of family drama plays out among the trio, as the two females grow increasingly suspicious of one another. Chris and Olivia are more like plot devices for Ann than they are characters, causing disruption in her lonely but safe life. The narrative still belongs to Ann, a fact that, funnily enough, would only annoy Olivia even further.
