Coming during the ragtag bunch of heroes' attempts to rescue a captive Princess Leia aboard the first Death Star, a rematch for the ages unfolds between one-time master and apprentice as Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi duke it out for old times' sake.

Yet, despite very much holding his own against the all-powerful fallen Jedi - more than he did during that first running of it back in Episode 3 of Disney+'s Obi-Wan Kenobi, at least - the wise old space wizard opts for a then-unexpected route upon witnessing Vader's son enter the hanger beside him.

With a knowing smirk as he sense what he must do, the one-time Clone War general brings his lightsaber towards him and offers the former Anakin Skywalker an open invite to strike him down. Sure enough, as predicted, Kenobi would subsequently become "more powerful than (Vader) can possibly imagine" and aid young Luke in his path to becoming a Jedi Master in his own right in the wake of his demise at Vader's hand.

And few Jedi have ever gone down in such a calm and badass a manner as this icon of the Force did when sacrificing himself to save Luke and the gang.
