10 Greatest Astronauts In Film History

10. Sam Bell - Moon (2009)

Astronauts - Film - Moon Sam Bell is the only man living in a moon base. He only has a few weeks left in his tour when he falls victim to an accident. His computer, GERTY, tends his wounds and nurses him back to health. But now Sam has come to realize that he is not alone on this dead world. A well-done film with a company named Lunar Industries that shares numerous similarities with the Umbrella Corporation from the Resident Evil franchise, Moon gives us an astronaut facing a problem that probably none of us could successfully solve. Why He's Great: Sam Bell represents a future we could each experience at some point. With clones and ever-larger corporations becoming more ingrained in our world each year, you might one day find yourself in the same situation. Watch the movie for some pointers.
