We have come to the end of our list of dad jokes and we top it off with an electrifying example of classic dad comedy.

So far on the list there's been puns, slapstick moments, boomer gifts but nothing quite beats a classic dad prank and there has been none better than the electric fence scene from Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park.

After narrowly escaping an absolutely terrifying T-Rex attack, Dr. Grant, Lex and Tim are desperately trying to make their way back to the security compound. On their travels, they encounter a giant electric fence with no way around it. After testing it with a stick, Grant then proceeds to grab hold of it with both hands and screams out in pain.

The kids are visibly terrified but Grant turns around and gives them a classic "gotcha" smile. Lex is peed off with the prank but Tim finds it highly hilarious making it an all round very successful dad joke.

The audacity to even think of pulling a prank to this degree in front of two defenseless children surrounded by carnivorous dinosaurs is applause worthy. Dr. Grant, you are surely (don't call him Shirley) responsible for the greatest dad joke in cinema history.
