10 Greatest Dream Sequences on Film

3. Brutally Unforgettable (Waltz with Bashir, 2008)

Now for the really disturbing, but nonetheless it is dream-like or more appropriately nightmare-like. In 1982, Israel fought to drive out Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) out of neighboring Lebanon. A massacre on genocidal scale occurred during this time. A year later, in 1983, a treaty brought an end to the majority of the fighting. This is the story of what happened afterwards. This is a film that can't be categorized, a documentary, a docu-drama, a psychological drama, animation? It's all of those things and something entirely new and original. Words would do any sequence in this film no justice; however, just know that the ending is as unforgettable as anything you'll ever see, ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgZ_qA88Kn0&feature=related

Writer and film-nut I'm willing to have perfectly reasonable discussions about the movies I love... on the internet... perhaps I asked too much. Read and comment on my personal blog too at cityuponahillmedia.com/blog
