10 Greatest Pre-Kill Movie Lines

Steven Spielberg's Jaws was a watershed moment in cinematic history; never before had a film arrived that literally left people afraid to go swimming afterwards. Jaws is regarded as one of the most iconic outings ever made, evidenced by the legion of sequels and imitations that the blockbuster inspired.
Jaws' climactic sequence sees the Chief of Police Brody and marine biologist Hooper enlist the help of Quint, a famed shark hunter, using the latter's boat - the appropriately named Orca - to kill the terrifying man-eater once and for all. Regardless of their best efforts, things go disastrously long before too long; Hooper flees underwater after an attempt to inject the shark with a poisoned dart and Quint is devoured in shocking fashion as the enraged apex predator manages to land onboard the crippled ship.
Despite being understandably traumatized by Quint's appalling death moments before, Brody desperately drags himself to the ship's crow's nest with a rifle in hand after he manages to jam a scuba tank into the murderous shark's cavernous maw; all whilst the boat continues to sink into the frothing waters. Roy Scheider's Brody keeps it simple with his parting words to the thrashing predator, the final expletive drowned out by the shockwave of the pressurized cylinder exploding as he fires a bullet into it.
