10 Heroically-Aligned Actors Who Need To Play Movie Villains

8. Sylvester Stallone

escape plan - stallone It might come as something of a surprise to learn that Sylvester Stallone has never starred in a movie where he's poised as the major villain, and not a "bad guy who happens to be a main protagonist," which he's done a lot, as in films such as Get Carter, Assassins and Bullet in the Head. Schwarzenegger has the Terminator, after all, one of the most iconic villains in cinema history, whereas Stallone has never ventured outside of "bad guy with a good heart" territory. So at this stage in his career, where the actor is churning out film after film, I think it'd be interesting for him to play the first fully-fledged villain of his career - the epitome of the kind of movie bad guys that his characters have spent the last thirty years going up against, time and time again. And how about on this occassion Stallone isn't allowed to imbue the character with any positive trait? He doesn't want to get out of the business, he just wants to kill.
