3. Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill 3
Description: Once upon a time, The Bride (aka Beatrix Kiddo) exacted her bloody revenge on Bill and the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. It was bloody, it was just, and it was out of order. One of her targets, Vernita Green (code name: Copperhead), had a little daughter named Nikki. Nikki watched her mother die at The Bride's hand, and though it was not her intention The Bride consoled her inadvertent witness with this pledge: "It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that I'm sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it comin'. When you grow up, if you still feel raw about it, I'll be waiting." Kill Bill 3 would have been Nikki Green's raw, bloody revenge.
Why It's Not Happening: Quentin Tarantino has been promising us this film for a while, simply because he wanted the young actress who played Nikki to actually grow up and be in the film. Though after a while, rumors supposedly had popped up that Sydney Poitier (of Death Proof fame) would be filling in the role and production would be closer than we thought. However, it's all come down to QT's hand...and as of last December, he killed it himself.
The Last Word?: "We'll see...probably not." That's all we've gotten out of Tarantino's mouth is that simple dismissal.
If You Really Want To See It...: ...don't hold your breath.
