10 Hilarious Easter Eggs Hidden In Movie Credits

7. I€™m Sew Tired - Help!

Help! was The Beatles€™ second feature film. The 1965 movie €“ directed by Richard Lester of (half of) Superman II, Superman III and Superman IV: The Quest For Peace fame €“ is a whole lot of fun, if not quite as good as A Hard Day€™s Night. After the drug-fuelled cult-based antics of the movie have wrapped up, there€™s plenty of fun to be had during the credits as the band play up to the camera and laughter billows out of them. And, right at the end, there€™s a baffling dedication that must have seemed funny at the time. Text appears on the screen to tell us that Help! is dedicated to €œElias Howe, who, in 1846, invented the sewing machine.€ The facts stated there are true, but the exact reasons for the dedication remain unknown. One rumour is that Elias Howe€™s invention was inspired by a dream where he was surrounded by unfriendly natives with spears, which is said to have inspired the events of the movie, too. That sounds a bit farfetched... but so is the entire film, to be fair.
