10 Hilarious Hidden Details In Comedy Movies
What's that secret button on Dr Evil's space suit?!
Comedy movies are a wonderful thing, but, that's not exactly breaking news now, is it?
For two hours or so, care-free fans are transported away from the doom and gloom of modern society to a land where quirky awkwardness and glorious puns reign supreme.
However, sometimes we can get a little too caught up in one particular quip or hilarious slapstick moment playing out in front of our very eyes on screen, meaning we tragically miss another side-splitting joke or unexpected cameo staring us right in the face.
Multi-purpose space suits, highly-offensive street pavings and even unfortunate real-life wipeouts have all wiggled their way into some of our favourite comedy flicks over the years, without the majority of the giggling folks in cinemas even noticing. But never fear, as all the hard work these brilliant comedy filmmakers put into crafting blink-and-you'll-miss-it visual gags and trying to cover up painfully obvious F-bombs did not go to waste.
We here at WhatCulture spotted your secret hilarity, so now it's time to share those rib-ticking treats with the folks who unfortunately missed out on the fun.
10. Two-Ring Cox - Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story
The tale of Dewey Cox (John C. Reilly) is one filled with many twist and turns, ladies and gentlemen.
Crafted as a parody of the biopic genre, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox story sees the titular character go from rejected brother-killer (by accident of course!) to rock 'n' roll superstar.
However, once Cox becomes an instant hit, he is faced with all of the temptations that come with fame. This includes relationships with other women whilst still being married to his childhood sweetheart Edith (Kristen Wiig).
Cox eventually marries another woman called Darlene (Jenna Fischer) behind his other wife's back, before Edith walks in on the two about to consummate their new marriage. This eventually leads to Cox trying to win his first wife back at their home, but the singing sensation probably should have removed one vital piece of jewellery before doing so.
When the pair make their way outside of the house, Cox lifts his left hand to reveal two wedding bands on his finger. This confirms that he is in fact married to two different people and also a complete idiot for not removing one of them before seeing his first wife again.
