7. Perverted Piggy: Big Top Pee-Wee

Maniacal manchild Pee-Wee Herman is bicycling frantically back to our screens courtesy of Netflix, where a whole new demographic can experience his inspired blend of surreal innocence and fleeting adult references, the mix of which made his Playhouse a staple of American pop culture. Pee-Wee's Big Adventure was a hit, but the follow up, Big Top Pee-Wee, evolved into a stranger beast. The warped set up saw the bow-tied wonder running a farm and having regular lunchdates with fiancée Winnie, a woman whose hair Pee-Wee found fascinating in a strangely primal way. However it was his talking pig Vance that steered the production toward the vat of hot water, when the porcine pal taught two little girls how to wrestle... in mud no less! There's no way a gag with even a hint of that sort of activity would make it out the blocks in 2016.
