What It's About: Being a teenager is an anxious time for any species, but what if you also happen to be a Clownfish with a damaged fin and mommy issues? Meet Emo, who hasn't been the same since his mother died, and has spent the sum of his childhood wallowing in a pool of his own self-pity, occasionally threatening to "slash" his good fin because he craves attention and hates "the system." When Emo finally decides that a sweepy fringe isn't doing his feelings justice, he runs away, leaving his faithful father, Marlin, to set out on a rescue mission to claim his moody son. With a soundtrack by My Chemical Romance, Jawbreaker, and all the other emo bands you can name (because I can't), Finding Emo is the most depressing animated film of the year, if not ever. Don't watch it. It's a sea of pain.
