10 Hilariously Awful Pieces Of Movie Merchandise

6. Cancerous McDonalds Shrek Glasses

Cancer isn't funny, but the shocking display of immense incompetence on the part of McDonalds is, for allowing 12 million commemorative Shrek glasses to ship to stores despite the fact that all of the glasses contained a toxic metal called cadmium, a carcinogenic substance which is capable of causing severe damage to the kidneys, lungs, intestines, bones, and well, seemingly just about every part of the human body. Considering you're going to be touching your mouth to it, that's not exactly ideal, all the more so as most of the victims are going to be children. It's especially disgraceful given that McDonalds are basically the masters of movie tie-in merchandise - at least as far as fast food chains go - so you can be sure that Ronald McDonald kicked someone's ass over this massive screw up.
