10 Hilariously Obvious Stunt Doubles Who Ruined Their Scenes

Roger Moore gets a lot of grief for barely lifting a finger when it came to the more physically exerting scenes required of him in his time as James Bond, relying on his legendary stand-in Martin Grace for notoriously difficult sequences like walking up stairs, rather than attempting the difficult task himself.

This is literally not a joke. Ironically, though, probably the most memorable stunt-double fail comes from a different source entirely in a Moore film. In the woefully overrated Moonraker, Bond and iconic villain Jaws leap into the sky, along with a moustached second villain, with only two parachutes between them. Bond wrestles with the moustache man in mid-air, steals his 'chute and kicks him in the chops to his death, before the surprisingly aerodynamic Jaws swoops in and tackles him, attempting to bite his leg like the devil he is.

However, thanks to the far too brave cinematography, which clearly put no faith in the audience's ability to recognise faces, it is painfully obvious that the flying man is not Jaws. And that he appears to have Bugs Bunny's teeth in. If that wasn't enough, here's an equally convincing shot of "Roger Moore" from the same sequence.
