10 Hilariously One Sided Hollywood Sibling Rivalries

8. Mark Wahlberg Vs Donnie Wahlberg

Wahlberg Interesting to note here is that Donnie Wahlberg, the older of the two brothers, did actually take the lead, becoming famous as a member of the popular boy band New Kids on the Block from 1984-1994. A 13-year-old Mark was a member of the original NKOTB line-up, but quit soon after, instead opting for a youth of cocaine addiction and a prison stint for assault. Upon leaving prison, Mark started up Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, and finally became a success in his own right. It wasn't until the two actors entered the world of film, however, that Mark truly began to eclipse his brother. Mark's work in Boogie Nights helped propel him to critical acclaim, opening the floodgates for a string of high profile roles in films like Three Kings, The Perfect Storm and Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes. Donnie was no slouch either, working on The Sixth Sense and Band of Brothers, though by 2005, Donnie was working in the Saw franchise, and Mark was shooting The Departed. From them on, Mark's reputation as a Hollywood mega-star has only grown, while Donnie has starred in Kevin James comedies and TV shows.
