10 Hilariously Unthreatening Movie Villains

6. The Hybrid - Alien: Resurrection

What the hell is that? Part human, part Xenomorph: all horrible. An attempt to clone the Xenomorph Queen gone wrong (to say the least), this monstrosity is the cherry on top of one of the Alien franchise's worst movies, and perhaps its biggest mistake.

Initially envisioned by writer Joss Whedon as eyeless, veiny and ivory white, what audiences got instead was horrifying in an entirely different way. And, needless to say, it was not the intended way.

Punching off the Alien Queen's head only moments after being born, the Newborn is obviously intended to be a terrifying new threat to humanity. What the film presents, however, is an ugly, brown-ish lump of sludge with a skull for a face and an irritating death-screech.

It's also desperately sluggish, making it hard to envision this... thing... as any sort of threat whatsoever. Certainly not to Ellen Ripley, the woman who went hand-to-hand (to Power Loader) with an Alien Queen in her prime.
