1. Pinocchio Kills Jiminy Cricket (Who Then Turns Into A Ghost) - Pinocchio

In Carlo Collodi's novel, "The Adventures of Pinocchio," a lot of disturbing stuff goes down. First off, Pinocchio accidentally kills the Talking Cricket who is trying to warn him about disobedience. Don't worry, though, he comes back as a ghost who follows Pinocchio around to warn him about the Cat and the Fox. And when Pinocchio doesn't listen to him (yet again), the Cat and the Fox ambush the puppet.

But Pinocchio just BITES OFF THE CATS PAW in order to get out of that sticky situation. Oh, and the Blue Fairy ends up being a walking corpse who Pinocchio and Geppetto live with for a short while.
