10 Horror Actors Forced Into Roles They Never Wanted
5. Wesley Snipes - Blade: Trinity

In 1998, Blade was released in theatres and started the Marvel Age of Cinema. Wesley Snipes made the title role his own and reprised it four years later in Guillermo del Toro's Blade II. But by the time the third installment, Blade: Trinity, came around, the actor was none too pleased about returning.
His big issue was series writer David S. Goyer taking the director's chair. Snipes was a co-producer on the film and felt that Goyer's hiring was a decision made without his approval. But because he was producing the movie and putting his own money into it, the actor had to participate in the film but became notorious for his on-set behavior.
Snipes refused to interact with his co-stars, changed sequences on a whim, and even had to be digitally altered as he refused to open his eyes in one scene. Even during rare occasions where he'd acknowledge the cast and crew, he only communicated through post-it notes and only replied when he was called 'Blade.'
Things got so bad that, in 2005, Wesley Snipes sued the studio and Goyer, whom he claims cut him out of the filmmaking process and did not pay him the salary he was owed. He also blamed the casting of Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Biel for reducing his screen time.
