10 Horror Film Franchises Worse Than Paranormal Activity

9. The Mangler

It€™s not every week that Tobe Hooper directs a Stephen King adaptation starring Robert Englund, but 1995€™s The Mangler was an unspeakable horror the likes of which the world had never before seen, whose very existence disproved the possibility of a tender and merciful God. Naturally, they made not one but 2 straight-to-tape €˜seemquels€™, both of which waste the talents of a pair of dependable genre icons. The Mangler 2.0 was one of Lance Henriksen€™s €œalimony movies€, while in The Mangler Reborn, Reggie Bannister made a glorified cameo as a burglar. These are senseless, threadbare productions trading on Stephen King€™s name, but they call themselves movies and think they€™re real movies, so let€™s humour the filmmakers Worst Offender: The Mangler 2.0, for turning Lance Henriksen into a man-machine hybrid who sings Wannabe by The Spice Girls.
