The 2024 pseudo-documentary centres around tv presenter, Jack Delroy, who hosts a late-night talk show called Night Owls. Though Jack is desperate for ratings, he puts the show on hiatus when his wife, Minnie, dies from cancer. When Jack returns to the show, he interviews a possessed girl, hoping the spectacle will boost his numbers.

However, the episode goes horribly awry, with the demonic force killing several people. Not only that, the demon reveals Jack made a pact with the devil to boost his career, at the expense of his wife's soul.

This revelation becomes clear when Jack watches the recorded playback and witnesses Minnie's spirit standing behind him during one frame. As shocking as this moment is, it's not the first time Minnie showed up.

In fact, it's not even the second, third, or fourth time. While Jack is leaning on the camera at the end of the prologue, Minnie can be seen on the monitor standing by his side. She can also be observed other times in a mirror, on a static screen, in the possessed girl's hair, and on a pocket watch.

Despite popping up nearly a dozen times, it's easy to miss Minnie's secret appearances, since you'll be focusing on something else at the time.
