7. Ted Bowen - Friday The 13th Part 2
Amid Friday the 13th Part 2's sizable body count, it's easy to forget about the fate of the movie's jokester character Ted Bowen (Stu Charno).
For as much as Ted seems like a card-carrying future victim for Jason Voorhees (Steve Daskewisz), he unexpectedly survives the film's events, even if he does so in rather surreptitious fashion.
During the movie, Ted leaves the training camp near Crystal Lake and heads to a bar, where he gets thoroughly rat-arsed, enough that he can't drive himself back to the camp.
The last time we see Ted in both the movie and the franchise as a whole, he talks about finding a motel in town to sleep off the brew, and that's that.
While it's obvious that Ted wasn't killed by Jason given that he was never seen returning to the camp, it's also easy to take his continued existence for granted given how suddenly he just disappears from the movie.
And like that, Ted's fondness for a "few" beers ended up saving his life.
