10 Horror Movie Deaths That Pissed Off Fans
1. Whistler - Blade: Trinity
The first two Blade movies kick so much a**. I'm more partial to the first than the second, but both are exceptional comic-book movies that offer distinctive takes on the world of vampire hunters and daywalkers. One of the best presences in both flicks is Kris Kristofferson's Whistler, the ageing vampire hunter who supports Blade on his evil-slaying mission.
In one of the most tragic moments in the original movie though, Whistler is killed at the hands (or fangs?) of a bunch of vamps. However, that didn't stop him, and the grizzled character is brought back from the dead for the sequel.
Which makes it all the more insulting when he's quickly dispatched again in the dreadful Blade: Trinity. Now, killing Whistler again would be fine, but after this rollercoaster ride the way he's dispatched makes him feel like an after-thought, an element the writers just wanted rid of. He gets a last stand at least, but it feels hollow.
Whistler, and the entire Blade franchise, deserved more than this mess.
