10 Horror Movie Endings You Can No Longer See

It's no secret that Shane Black's The Predator was changed substantially during post-production, with poor test screenings prompting Fox to order an extensive round of reshoots which significantly altered the movie's third act.

The final film ends with the reveal of the "Predator killer" weapon - an armoured suit gifted to humanity to help them fend off any future Predator invasions.

Yet Fox ultimately had three versions of the scene shot during production, each offering up a different surprise reveal for the Predator killer.

One ending involved the shocking reappearance of Alien's heroine Ellen Ripley (played by stuntwoman Breanna Watkins) and the other saw an adult version of Aliens' young hero Newt (also played by Watkins) show up as the Predator killer.

Quite how the logic of this would've all shaken out is anyone's guess, especially with Newt dying at the start of Alien 3, but both endings would've certainly served as amusingly over-the-top exclamation points at the end of a wildly disappointing Predator movie.

Sadly beyond some behind-the-scenes images of the endings posted to social media by the film's crew, these endings haven't ever been officially released, nor witnessed by anyone beyond the filmmaking team and presumably unhappy some Fox executives.
