10 Horror Movie Plots You Won’t Believe Actually Exist
1. A Bed That Eats People - Death Bed: The Bed That Eats
Death Bed: The Bed That Eats has got to be one of the greatest titles of all time. After all, just "Death Bed" wouldn't have enough information for people.
Made in 1977, this movie revolves around a bunch of characters who come across the Death Bed, a bed which "eats"/absorbs anyone who lays on it. If you're wondering, they actually do explain the backstory of the bed - apparently, a demon was having sex with a woman on it, but she died in the process. He was so upset, he cried tears of blood, which fell on the bed and turned it evil and caused it to come to life.
If that's not crazy enough, most of the movie is told to you by a narrator, Aubrey Beardsley, an artist who was spared by the bed but lives inside a painting across from it, witnessing everyone getting eaten. Okay then?
None if it is played up to be cheesy or campy, though, meaning that it takes the entire running time to really accept the fact that this is a real thing.
