6. A Gorilla Wearing A Diving Helmet - Robot Monster
In Robot Monster, a Moon robot referred to as Ro-Man attempts to destroy the last remaining life on Earth. It just so happens that this robot resembles a gorilla wearing a diving helmet. Yes, within the story of the movie, this isn't actually a gorilla (it's supposed to be a terrifying robot), but it certainly looks like a cheap monkey suit. Okay then.
The Ro-Man goes around trying to kill the last survivors, using a laser, strangling one of the daughters and tossing a man over a cliff to his death. But, uh oh, his mission gets complicated when he falls in love with one of the survivors. Yes, the Ro-Man develops an attraction to the main scientist's oldest (human) daughter, sort of a King Kong dynamic except he has a bucket on his head.
Ro-Man's alien leader is pissed that he didn't complete his task and fell in love with a human, so he kills Ro-Man and then releases dinosaurs on Earth to destroy everyone. They go crazy for a bit, but then the Earth shakes and a little boy wakes up, revealing it was all just a dream. And... that's it.
