9. Scream - Skeet Ulrich Hit Matthew Lillard With A Phone
While some actors on this list endured near-death experiences to get the best take possible, all Matthew Lillard had to do was accidentally get hit with a telephone to make horror history.
At the end of Scream, our two killers Billy (Skeet Ulrich) and Stu (Lillard) have let things get out of hand. Stu is bleeding out after being stabbed by Billy a bit too eagerly in order to give themselves an alibi, and hero Sidney has phoned the pair to taunt them that the police are on the way.
In a rage, Billy throws down the phone, which flies straight into the back of the head of Stu who, already on death's door, calls his partner in crime a dick for doing so.
It's one of the funniest moments in the film, and it was all entirely unscripted. In reality, Ulrich was supposed to throw the phone next to Lillard but missed and accidentally cracked him on the back of the head. Quick on his feet, Lillard effortlessly improvised the new line.
