8. Annabelle 3 - TBA 2019
Do we need another Annabelle movie? No. Are we getting another Annabelle movie? Yes. Do We want another Annabelle movie? That all depends whether we get something that's 2014 Annabelle quality, or 2017 Annabelle: Creation quality, but either way - James Wan's Conjuring universe continues to grow exponentially like the Marvel franchise on crack and dressed up in goth clothes.
Annabelle 3 is set to be a sequel to Annabelle, following on from the events that lead to the Warrens taking the possessed doll back to their artefact room for safe-keeping. Turns out, having a demonic presence inside a children's toy really isn't that safe, and after interacting will all the other spooky inhabitants of the Warrens private collection the locked away evil spirits set their sights on the Warren's 10 year old daughter Judy.
The film is still untitled, but set for a summer release ahead of the next Conjuring instalment in 2020 and The Crooked Man sometime in between. Considering writer and directorial newcomer Gary Dauberman is in charge of this one, it'll be interesting to see just how it turns out.
