Orphan centres around Leena Klammer, an adult dwarf who resembles a child. Since the diminutive killer has never felt accepted, she'll do everything in her power to have a family. Institutionalised when prequel picture Orphan: First Kill opens, this innocent-looking sociopath would break out of those confines and convince the rest of the world she was a young girl.

Although Leena is ruthless and profoundly intelligent, it's her dedication that stands out most. Notably, she escaped from a fortified institution armed with only a pencil, she mastered the piano, painting, and singing so she'd be more desirable to potential parents, and even passed herself off as missing girl Esther Albright so she could be taken in by the Albright family. 

After that didn't pan out in First Kill, Leena/Esther manipulated the Coleman family once they adopted her. When adoptive mother Kate suspected the girl of hiding something, Leena broke her own arm in two places and pretended Kate was responsible - all so Kate's husband John would turn against his wife, leading Leena to try and seduce John.

Also, that Leena wears fluffy clothes to hide her figure and fake "kiddy" teeth to maintain her childlike appearance, shows how committed she is to her act.
