Landmine Goes Click may not be a great horror movie overall, but it nevertheless rocks one hell of an enticing premise.

When three friends go hiking in Georgia, one of them, Chris (Sterling Knight), ends up accidentally stepping on an armed landmine, leaving his friends Alicia (Spencer Locke) and her fiancé Daniel (Dean Geyer) scrambling to save his life.

Except, a few minutes after the discovery, any belief that Chris' predicament was a pure accident is quickly dispensed with, as Daniel reveals that he actually planned the whole thing.

His motive? He knew that Alicia had recently cheated on him with Chris, and devised this scheme to get revenge on the both of them - especially Chris, evidently.

It's certainly not the only twist in the movie, but it is an extremely early one that massively flips the script, quickly ridding the story of a central mystery that was totally concealed in the film's trailers.
