10 Horror Movies That Could Have Ended After 10 Minutes

Failing to prepare, is preparing to fail. That old adage rings true in M. Night Shyamlan's foray into sci-fi horror, Signs.
The film received positive reception upon release, and Shyamalan was once again praised for his masterful ability to cultivate suspense and tension. It revolves around a worldwide alien invasion, while managing to maintain intimacy by focussing on one family on a rural farmstead, for the most part.
There is one key flaw in the aliens' takeover of Earth, however, in that they are allergic to liquid water. Step one of invading a planet should be making sure that 70% of that planet's surface isn't deadly to your species. It isn't exactly rocket science. These aliens are capable of interplanetary travel, so it isn't too much of a stretch to assume that they are capable of basic critical thinking.
