10 Horror Movies That Punish You For Getting Wasted

6. Martin - Friday The 13th Part VI: Jason Lives

Shrooms 2007

While a good percentage of horror characters featured on this list got wasted while partying, Jason Lives' Martin was someone who seemingly spent every day and night pounding the booze.

Played by Bob Larkin, this Friday the 13th Part VI character is one of the many, many to be offed by Jason Voorhees, and a large part of that was down to how Martin was obsessed with constantly hitting the bottle.

Working as a gravedigger, Martin always has a bottle of liquor to hand whenever he's seen on screen. In fact, it would be his whiskey bottle that would ultimately lead to Martin's death.

Stumbling home one night after work, the sozzled Martin gets lost in the woods. That's never a great idea in a Friday the 13th movie, and this drunken rambling eventually has the fella come face to face with the resurrected, near-supernatural figure of Jason.

In a perfect advert for giving up the drink, Jason takes Martin's whiskey bottle from him, smashes it, then proceeds to fatally stab Martin with the remnants of this bottle.
